CBT and Telemedicine

Cognitive Behavioral Counseling offers video therapy for clients who have life circumstances preventing them from attending in-person sessions. Virtual therapy, or “teletherapy”, may be an appropriate alternative for those individuals with scheduling conflicts, travel concerns, medical difficulties and childcare difficulties. In order to find out if video counseling is right for you, please call or email to take advantage of your free consult.

How do Virtual Sessions Work?

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) over telehealth has been shown by research to be just as effective as in-person CBT. The same skills are easily taught through video counseling. Dr. Berman will provide you with a web address which will take you to his virtual waiting room where the private face-to-face session can begin.
